I'm on a windows 2000 domain and I have set up a Security Policy on the DC. The client pc (w2k) logs in and receives the policy and it is effective on that client but it still is not working. the policy setting is Password complexity, Minimum password length. I'm lost...any help greatly appreciated Jimmy

First check that you have the right to creat the policy and that the users that you are setting for the GPO have the right to read and apply the group policy.
If all of these is right be sure the users/computers are in the OU/Site/Domain that you set the GPO for.

Yes I do have the authenticated group checked off to read and apply in the security settings. Also the computer is in the domain. So it should work....right? Help! thanks Jimmy
