HI,

Working from my XP using Remote terminal to some W2K server,I need to write some Perl code to keep the cmd window on the other server alive (simulating mouse/keyboard input ?).This is done because I'm running some big file ftp upload from the W2K server elsewhere ,unattended.
If not - the connection is kicked out by the other server in 10 minutes and so is my ftp transfer...
Appreciate any idea.
Thanks

Weird.. normally when you close a RD session it doesn't actually kill anything you were doing. You might look at the w2k setting and see if there is something set there that you could just modify to allow it to stay up.
