Since moving from NT4 TSE to W2K Terminal Services, I've noticed that each user can now set their printer preferences individually. Ideally, I don't want users to be able to change default trays, printer quality, etc. I just want one global set of settings per printer, setable by the domain admins that apply to everyone that uses it.

I thought that this would be fairly easy to do, but I can't find out how to do it. I thought it would be in the Security tab for each printer, but if I set Manage Printers to Deny, it sets Print to Deny. This obviously doesn't do what I expected. I had a look through the Group Policies, but nothing useful there either.

Searching this forum, I found a few useful posts including one from someone appearing to want to do the opposite, but so far no joy.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Further info: Metaframe XPS installed, W2K in mixed mode.
