What I'm looking to do is get an external usb hard drive and have windows automatically dump information on to it. I don't know if on the fly would be better, or incremental at the end of the day. What would be the best way and how do i do it?

Thanks

Oops. I said W2K, I meant W2K3 server.

What is your ultimate goal (Disaster recovery, Dfs, etc)? I'm looking at a similar scheme for quick recovery in the event of the failure of my file server and I don't want to use Dfs replication due to the unpredicability of which version of the file will be used.
