Vxi V150 Headset on 9508

Just received a V150 demo unit, Vxi told me that the V150 will only work on 9600 sets and not on a digital phone although they told me that they know of Avaya partners that have it working on them. I tried playing with it on a 9508 because most of our customers are on either 9500 or 1400 telephone sets, but I am not able to get it to work 100%, anybody out there knows what to tweak in order to get it to work? I see a lot of options in Advanced->Audio regarding headsets such as 3 AGC settings that I do not know what they do, any help will be greatly appreciated.

I removed the EHS as per their recommendation, since the problem is the EHS, I went and installed it on 5420 and the thing is behaving pretty much the same way. Maybe I have a bad set or maybe I want to use it in a way that it is not going to work? I am calling Tech Support Monday to find out what is the problem.
