Hello all,
I am trying to setup a 2port VWIC card to house 2 T1's multilink to a point to point location. I need to have an extra line go to my pbx to give the remote users 6 T1 channels for voice. Normally I would have the adtran spit the voice and data channels and go right into the router through a wic-1T however I need the space so bought the vwics. I can get the line up and voice goes through but the protocol never comes up. After talking to cisco they say it is because you can't have a csu (adtran) go right into another CSU (the VWIC). The VWIC is configured to allow 1-24 channels throughput and I have also tried 7-24 to compliment the adtran etc. I had to pull the card out and wait on the upgrade but I'm thinking there has to be a way to make this work. Any ideas? Basically my current setup is the T1 goes directly into the adtran from there 1 cable goes to the pbx and one goes into the router and viola!
Appreciate any help.
