VWIC-2MFT-T1 errors

Hello,

Has anybody run into problems with T1's taking errors with the VWIC-2MFT-T1 WIC module on a Cisco 2651XM router? We have about 10 different 2651's at customer sites, and it seems they all have various problems with T1's dropping and not restoring on the VWIC-2MFT-T1's. We're also running MLPPP across both T1's, and we noticed if we take a T1 out of the MLPPP bundle, the errors go away and the T1 becomes stable. Does anybody know of any bugs with the VWIC-2MFT-T1 modules. Also, I am running IOS 12.4(3b).


Any thoughts?

You may want to check with Cisco. I know that my ISP was swapping out large numbers of Dual Port VWICS for intermittent drops. I will try to find more details.

Also, we are the telco/service provider in this situation, and each time we see errors on a circuit that terminates on a VWIC-2MFT-T1, we have a CO tech monitor the circuit with a T-berd and they see no errors whatsoever.

2. Are you using both interfaces?
3. What are the interfaces connected to?
4. How do you have clocking configured?
