Go to Voice Processing Configuration -> Administration. Then double left click on the extension and Set the Mailbox Transfer type to Disconnect
4.6.3.2 Mailbox Parameters
● User Name: User/Mailbox name.
● Mailbox: Mailbox number.
● Password: User’s Mailbox password. Used to access the mailbox contents from the
phone. (If no password is assigned the user will get the first time set up prompts when the
users call voice mail.
● Include in Directory: Specify whether user should be included in the directory.
● Newest Message Received: When checked, this function plays new and saved messages
(LIFO) Last in First Out. When unchecked, messages are played (FIFO) First in First Out.
● Transfer Types:
– Blind: The Auto Attendant transfers the caller in an unsupervised fashion.
– Screened: The Auto Attendant prompts the caller to state their name, then calls the
user and plays the name of the callers to give the user the option to accept the call or
to send on to voicemail.
– In Mailbox: The Auto Attendant transfers callers directly into the user’s mailbox.
– Disconnect: The Auto Attendant transfers callers directly into the user’s mailbox, but
instead of being able to leave a message the caller is disconnected after the greeting
is played.
