Im not sure if this is a question or just an FYI yet, but something i've just tested and confirmed:
In our EAS G3Si R11 system we have all of our ACD agents setup with vu-display buttons so they can see their stats.
We've just realized (after about 3 years of running this way) that when a logged-in agent presses their vu-stats button, they are placed in aux-work mode until they press auto-in again.
We do not assign aux buttons to their phones as management does not want them to be able to manually activate Aux. Of course aux time will show up when in 'other' mode and things like that, but they either use ACW or logout to become unavailable, and thats it.
Is this common knowledge? If so - is there a way to deactivate this feature so they stay logged-in? I dont understand why simply checking vu-stats on their phones puts them unavailable to take calls in queue. ?? Its counter-productive to the function of the feature in my opinion.
If anyone else is having some crazy aux numbers that they cant explain - maybe check to see if vu-stats is enabled on their phones!
Thanks in advance for any suggestions/comments.
