VSS not Opening my RPT files when Checked Out to Edit

Hello all,

I was wondering if there is a setting or a fix to get an RPT file to open when I choose Edit from VSS.
I check out my RPT to edit and it opens a blank Crystal Report window without opening the checked out RPT file.

I have to then click on the Open File folder and open the file manually from within CR to open the file from my working folder.

I am using CR 9.2.2.693

Any ideas of what to try? I've already added *.rpt to the binary file list in VSS.
