Anyone have the new feature script scanning enabled?

Had an issue with High CPU utilization the other day and when Mcafee was disabled we didnt see high CPU utilziation.

This all happened when users were trying to access an ASP page that had 1.5 megs of view state data loading. The CPU spike happened when the data was rendered. There were a view javascript modules built into the page. This would also happen at continential airlines website
The funny thing was that it was IEXPLORE.exe that was spiking at 100% for 5 seconds and Mcafee wasnt scanning any files.

I ended up enabling Mcafee and Disabling the scriptscan feature and wala the CPU spike was gone.

Is this feature really worth leaving on. Has anyone seen virus's caught. I dont want to turn it off but I have users screaming everywhere because they are using this asp app. Mcafee is telling me that its a productivy vrs. security issue and that the scanning will take up CPU utilization. But a 100% spike for 5 - 10 seconds is a little too much for a page that is refresed every few minutes.
