How would i set up the following scenario on a Partner with VS Mail Release 5?

From the AA greeting, a caller can transfer to a guest mailbox. We can obviously change the greeting to reflect what we need to have the caller do.

Assign a Mailbox to an unused Extension (usually highest number). After you create the Guest Mailbox assign Automatic VMS Cover. In your AA greeting tell the caller to dial the Extension # or Assign a Selector Code.

Is this the same on ACS Release 7. I am running into a problem with the guest mailbox that has no phone will try to transfer to mailbox 40 but it doesn't go anywhere and then says transferring to the Attendant and rings the main phone. We worked around it by changing the extensions to guest mailboxes on the voicemail ports, so that is ok, but is there something different with release 7 that i need to know about?

Hi kars98,
You have to tell the voicemail that there is no phone. Make sure you have enabled automatic vms coverage for the extension and the extenson must be valid for the dial plan.
