Hello,

on ePO 3.0 / ePO 3.5 we can make policies for VS for Scanning on access. If I want disable the Filetype *.class - isn't possible, the input mask has only 3 digits for extensions. The regular expression **/class also doesn't work. If I use the mask c:\*.class and I mark *also subdirs* - only the rootscanning of this mask works.

Any ideas?

btw. on clients, its works, but we want to use a central management...

How about *.class in the by pattern field. It takes it, I don't know if it actually works or not.

There's always cl? in the by file type box if you can afford to exclude anything where the extention starts with cl.

Does anyone have any know exclusions that will help XP run smoother? Anything I can add to the exclusions list that won't hurt anything?

Doh!!
