I have a windows xp home edition from which i am trying to have a vpn connection to my office to a machine which is windows 2000 professional. I have a firewall ( CISCO 501 ) at the office. When i try to connect i get an error. I had added the following lines to the firewall console.

access-list 101 permit tcp any host 192.168.0.5 eq 1723
access-list 101 permit tcp any host 216.x.x.x eq 1723
access-list 101 permit udp any host 216.x.x.x eq 1723
access-list 101 permit udp any host 192.168.0.5 eq 1723

Is their any thing more i need to add to have a sucessfull connection.

The following example is a simple PPTP access list:

access-list 110 permit tcp any host x.x.x.x eq 1723
access-list 110 permit gre any host x.x.x.x
