Hi,
I have setup a VPN using certificates for authentication on my test environment. After a successfull trial I have then implemented it on my live environment. The network is the same, but the domain is different. Anyhow, using a normal username/password authentication works perfectly, but using the certificate authentication, the connecting machine recieves a 619 error, and the server reports a 20049 error, "authentication did not complete in the required time". The connection is taking place between the firewall and the server, so I know that the firewall is not affecting it. Also once the vpn attempt has failed, the RRAS service will stop, and a reboot of the server is required to bring it back to working order.
Any ideas would be handy,
josh
