We have a Sonicwall SOHO2 with a 50 user license on it. I have a WinXP Pro laptop that I need to connect to our network.
I setup a connection on the Sonicwall via the online controls, jotted down the info, and then over the weekend proceeded to try to connect using that information.
I don't have a Sonicwall client on the laptop, was just trying to use the built in XP stuff.
It of course didn't work with any of the settings I tried on the XP laptop.
I read that Sonicwall has a software client that makes it easier, but it wasn't out for XP for a long time. I saw a hint that it was out now, but that it wouldn't work going into SOHO appliances.
