Hi all,

I have a situation that has me confused.

I have setup a VPN account on SBS Pre 2003. The server is at another Business site not related to mine. I have setup the connection from my laptop at work(runs XP Pro, on an NT domain). She connects fine and when I type and run the server name I see all the shares. Remote desktop works as well.It is a PPTP VPN connection.

The problem is my home machine. It to is an XP pro on a DSL connection with zonealarm standard running. When I run the VPN connection from home it connects to the server fine but I can't Ping the server IP address nor see any shares. I also cannot run Remote Desktop. Its always the same answer it cannot find the network path.

I know it has to do with nameing of some sort but what is it that my work domain has that my home system is missing, or what should I look out for? Any help would be most helpful.
