I have 3 computers (2 are Win98 and the other is Win2kPro) at work that we use to access a VPN. For the longest time we could log on to the VPN but we couldn't access "see" any of the servers that we needed to get files from. After some late nights, I changed the Access Control settings (on one of my Win98 computers) from User-level access control to Share-level access control and *presto*...we could then see the servers that we needed to get files from. So I made the changes to the other Win98 PC and had the same positive results. Now I'm stuck with the Win2kPro machine and I can't figure out how to change my network settings to Share-level access b/c I'm don't know much about Win2k. Can anyone tell me how to do this in Win2kPro?

Go to the Computer Management fro mthe Administrative Tools and check the level of your shares (what groups have permissions). Also check your Local Users and Groups to check what they are set for.
