Hi All,

We currently have a problem with VPN phones freezing/locking up when using ACD over an ADSL connection. We have also managed to replicate the problem by searching the directory very very quickly, it seems to 'busy' the handset too much. The phones are 4621sw's on a CM3.1.2 Switch. The trace results on the handset is as follows:

The denial event 2076 is when the handset locks up, when checking the status it comes up as out of service/disconnected. I cant find any info on this anywhere, can anybody help?

Not sure if this is helpful, but with the TDM based handsets there is actually a failsafe that will busy the phone out if the buttons are pressed too much. I believe that it has to do with the number of CCMS messages the digital boards can process. You may be experiencing the same issue here. I suggest you look at the number of phones registered to the CLAN. There are specific loading recommendations from Avaya. If you are using a large number of IP Phones for call center applications than keep your CLAN loading low. Add another CLAN if necessary.
