VPN Phone Can't Place External Call

Hi guys - I searched but didn't find anything that looked like this. I'm running a CMS 5.2 S8300 and I'm stumped on this.

I have a single VPN 4610 phone recently deployed that exhibits the following symptoms:

- it can place and receive internal (ext to ext) calls​

- it can receive external calls​

- it cannot place external calls​

I've compared it to other 4610 VPN stations I've built and it's configuration is the same. I have a VPN 4610 here that I've tested and it works normally.

Any ideas what to look at?

OK - this is weird. The user reports it's now working. I found some minor config issues but nothing that would seem to cause the reported symptom. I did turn off IP Softphone, and changed LWC reception from spe to audix, but nothing beyond that.

I'm chalking this one up to a ghost in the shell and closing the ticket.
