VPN NT domain

I was attempting to setup a VPN server on a Win2K machine that is in an NT domain. It said the newly configured VPN machine would not be valid until I add it to my AD. Does this mean MS's VPN will only work in a Win2K environment with AD? I don't believe NT has a VPN option - so that would be out.

Thanks for any feedback on this.

NT does have a VPN option. You install it through RRAS.
