Hello
I am curious how you guys get around the high speed setups in hotels. I have a few salesmen who travel and they never seem to have any success connecting back to our network through the hotels high speed internet connection (dialing in works fine). Subsequent phone calls to the hotel dont help because the hotel staff rarely know anything about how their firewalls are setup (usually farmed out to a 3rd party)
Does anyone else experience these problems with their people ? perhaps it is a mis-configuration on the client end but I have no trouble connecting back to our network from a home internet connection so I am assuming it is with the hotels.

Any advice is appreciated.

we need more information to help. what's the problem or do you get any error code when trying to establish the connection?

NAT Traversal.
Cisco PIX with version 6.3 firmware and VPN Client 4
solves this one.

Its the fact that both VPN tunnel endpoints are behind NAT
routers.

Hotels usually give you a private address
