Any help would be greatly appreciated! I am using a windows 98 Second Edition Lap top . When I am trying to VPN into my company's network or attempting to dial, I get the following error:

“Error 751: The remote computer refused the VPN connection. Please try again latter. If this problem persists, check with your network administrator.”

Make sure you are setup to use the proper security, since I don't know how your company is setup for VPN Access start out with the lowest security (PAP) if that does not work then check each one by one until you connect. If the security protocol does not match then the dial-up server can drop the connection.

Another thing you can look at is to ensure you have the proper rights to dial-in. On my network I'm running a Radius server, not all users in my company have authorization to utilize the VPN, one I give them the group access then they can access via the VPN.

Just a few things to take a look at.....

*end users are just like computers, some you can work with...others just need a simple reBOOTing to fix their problems.*
