Can someone assist? Our company (based in the UK) has a good, working LAN running on Win 2000. We connect to the Internet via a 2MB cable connection, through a cable modem and a firewall. Everything has been working fine up until recently.
A colleague of mine does work from home and he has set up a VPN to remotely access our network to carry out work and to enable him to do back-ups of various things at night. He has all the access rights to do this and is fully authorised and has been able to do this for some time now.
In just the last few days he has been able to connect to a pc on the network - but the connection speed that he initially connects at - gradually slows down to zero and locks him out. He uses a dial up at 512k (broadband) and has not had a problem up until recently.
Is there a simple (haha) answer to this one? Hope so!!
Regards
