I am going to be setting up a 3 office VPN, containing 1 Main office with a Domain, and 2 remote offices which will need VPN access (to the Main) to poll sales results at the end of the day. I would like some input on what solutions people may, or may not recommend. All machines will be brand new 2000 workstation or server. I was thinking about using the Microsoft VPN client/server solution, but was wondering what some pro's and con's might be in comparison to a hardware solution such as Netgear FVS-318. Throughput and multiple simultaneous users are not an issue because polling will be done after office hours, one site at a time. Obviously price is a consideration as Microsoft bundles their product in and we’d have to purchase the firewall/VPN box if we decided to go that route.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
