i have a powerbook g4... 1 Ghz, 512 Ram... and VPC runs like crap on my machine... what do u need to get a decent performance? i'm trying to use Music Editing Software and it won't even budge.

You need a faster processor, at least 2 Ghz plus if possible, and more memory will never go amiss running VPC (and depending on how many virtual machines you want to have running at once). Remember you have to run your ordinary desktop as well as the virtual machines. That said I've run VPC on a desktop with a 1.7GHz celeron processor and 512 MB RAM with no problems at all. Music editing software (Cubase, Cool Edit Pro, Fruity Loops, etc) have similar demands.
