Has anybody tried this combination? I have, and as far as I can see - it just doesn't work. I have downloaded the beta drivers for Win2000 from the old 3dfx web site as well as the latest version of Visual Reality, and while everything would appear to be fine - I just can't get the thing to tune in.

Here's some background information. I am in the UK and therefore it is a PAL card as oppose to NTSC. I have Set the language to be "United Kingdom" which set the PAL standard as "PAL-I"

Here's how it (doesn't) work. When I hit the scan button on the tuning page, it seems to find several channels - however - when I go to the channel management section I find that there are several channels checked (between 1 and 69) but when I click on these channels and click on test all I get is a fuzz.

OK I say - the auto tuner must be scanning through the frequencies at a higher resolution than the channel divisions - so by using the fine-tuning options I should be able to find something - but this is not the case.

To this day I am stuck. Either there is something fundamentaly wrong with the beta driver - or the look up tables between the language setting, PAL standard and frequency are shot away.

I susspect many of the members of this forum are not from my part of the world, and therefore have no interest in this post, but for those of you who have tried or are thinking of trying this, please post a reply even if it is to let me know that you get the same result.

Unfortunatly I do not have any experience with the Voodoo 3500TV. Now You will be SUPRISED at how many techs in this forum are from The UK. Dont give up hope some one will be able to assist you. James Collins
