Netware 6.0 sp4 - NSS volumes
Several large files were downloaded to a network drive causing data volume out of disk space errors. We found the files and were able to delete them before the system went down. After deletion, the server stopped sending the out of disk space errors messages and everyone is back being able to save files.
When I review the server using Remote Console, under Monitor, volumes - the data volume still shows 99% full. Before the downloads, the data volume would be 89% full.
After the deletion of the files should this not return to the 89% full? I tried to purge the volume but it says there is nothing to purge.
Do I need to do rebuild the on data volume? My research indicated this was to be done only as a last resort.
Thanks,
jane
