Hiya,

Does anyone know a way to greatly increase the earpiece volume (like, way above what we're getting by using the 'slider' below the keypad) on an attendant 2250 console ?

If you speak to someone they can hear you clear as a bell, but you can hardly hear them.

Have tried the obvious:

- replacing handset.

- re-wiring DB25 connector at back of console (out of interest, does anyone else wire up their consoles with just 4 pins from the RJ45 and run it back to the patch board? - its a "solution" I have inherited..)

- even tried swapping with another console (although, this one could be faulty as well! came from the 'spare parts' cupboard)

At a loss, it kinda works, but definitely not as well as our other site and would like to get it a bit better/clearer if possible.

Cheers,
PW
