Hello everyone ;o)

I have a site in Italy and one in Moscow, both with Avaya IP Office 403 and VM Pro.

When I want to talk to one of my colleagues in Moscow using my mobile phone, I just dial our VM Pro with a fixed number (Italian) follwed by a "p" then the ext. number; for an example 3??? and this works fine, but my boss wants to be able to call any number at Moscow

Can someone help me please

Paul

Make a Module in VM-Pro
Point the incoming number to the Module

Go from the startpoint to a Auto attandent like
2??(stations in 2xx)

and then to a blind transfer with $KEY

Make a selection in your menu for break-out like a 8, connect it to a menu with a "$" as only option, connect the "$" option with a transfer to with a "8$KEY" as the target.
Then when you reach the VM Menu, dial "8" and the russian external number ( with the prefix wich must be dialled in russia for a external line ).

The number 8 before $KEY is a example and this must be a shortcode wich will send the dialled number over IP to russia.

if you have IP Trunk 109 to russia then the shortcode is like:
8N
N
Dial
109

Now you can dial any number as if you are a user in russia.
Hint: record 5 seconds dial tone and use it as a .wav file in the menu with only the "$" option, then users know what to do, if the tone stops ( 5secs )then all fun ends, VM pro will disconnect.
