VoIP - One way audio during the phone call...why?

Why is it when the secondary or primary fiberlink to a V-LAN switch fails the VoIP members of the the same V-LAN cannot hear VoIP callers from outside the V-LAN?

First question would be, is this in both directions? Seems like you have some talk-path routing issues
 
It's only happens to one talk path. i.e. I can hear you but you cant hear me.

Typically one way audio is a layer 3 issue. But your case is a little different in that even with a switch over your adressing is not changing.
So when it switches back to primary the issues goes away?

Anyway... When you say fiber link to switch, do you mean you have fiber coming from your PBX to the switch? Or you have redundant paths between your Vlans..

It's a redundant path between V-LANS
