I am going to be installing a VoIP gateway on a MICS to network it to a new BCM 50 going in another community. I'm assuming the gateway is where I setup the H.323 trunking. How do I connect it (hardware and software) to the MICS and what keycodes are going to be needed in the MICS?

any software version will work and no keycodes are needed for the MICS. All you need is an LS/DS card with and another E&M card/clock card to provide you DTMF receivers along with the gateway box. The gateway will interface with the system by analog loop start lines. After that you will need to directly connect to the Gateway box to program it with a crossover ethernet cable.

OK, that sounds pretty straight forward. I especially was curious how I interfaced with the gateway. Thanks for the help.

What kind of gateway have you used for this application.
Nortel or some other vender?

Nortel Gateway. I received a nice summary sheet from an ITAS engineer that made the programming fairly easy on the Gateway.
Our salesperson didn't check with us before they ordered the MICS so it didn't have the combo card in it to receive the DTMF and that had to be ordered.
