We have CS1000M
Rlelase 5.5

Some of our locations have VoIp. We are PRI. The complaint is that when a person calls from a VoIP location we do not get the Caller Id.
Is there anything that will capture the VoIP Id. It is my understanding when VoIP calls VoIP they get the extension or caller Id.. Please help me understand.

The IP phone will be assigned to a CLID table just like an analog or digital phone.

The IP Phone call does not display the Caller Id when calling the Landline.
I apologize if I am not explaining this problem correctly.
Landline to Landline Caller Id. OK
IP Phone to Landline Caller Id NO

The Caller ID over a PRI to a land line has nothing to do with it being an IP Phone. The caller ID will be sent by the PBX based on the CLID table, however the carrier has to allow this. Otherwise they may just see a generic number, like the main # of the business.

Thanks
I believe the carrier must have the Caller Id blocked
