When we make voip calls (323 Trunks) to Hong Kong, there is no talk path on either end. I have forwarded a phantom port back to the states and when I call from Site A to the Phantom number in Hong Kong (which goes back to the states) the call is fine. I am thinking this may be a DSP issue on the Honk Kong side. I have re-booted the Media Gateway card and signaling server and get the same results. This problem only happens in our Honk Kong office, all other calls from Site A are fine. Thanks

if you have IP ISMs in Hong Kong, build an IP phone and registar it to Hong Kong and call - this will not use DSP on Hong Kong side so can prove if DSP or not.

Also from IP phone registered to Hong Kong, dial a TDM phone and then you can trace and see what DSP resource is used.

No speach path could be a DSP problem but if it is a DSP problem will be on all calls that use that dsp.

If your calls fails to the IP phone - I would supsect network is dropping UDP traffic probably at Hong Kong location since it works every where else.

Also, does it work from other sites to Hong Kong?
