Can I ask why? Is there any reason you would want to upgrade voicemail without upgrading IP Office?
Most features in the new Voicemail Pro will not work unless the system is running the same level of firmware and software. For example, VMP now supports ContactStore and voice recording. Without V3 firmware, you couldn't use ContactStore, and without V2 firmware, you couldn't use recording.
Firmware is always the thing that should be the most up to date. You could for example use VMP 2.0 on an IP Office running V3 firmware, but I would never do the opposite.
Let me know your reasons, and we can discuss a little further.
Not to be pushy, but does anyone know if it can be done? I'm about 2 hours from home, so the earlier I can start this, the better my night will be. I've read everywhere, and spoken with the other local IPO tech and we think it can... we just want to be sure. Again, thanks for all your help. Don't know what I would have done without this board.
