IP 500 4.2.17, vm pro 4.2.30. Call voicemail you get ring no answer to infinity. these are my errors.

anyone have any ideas? License is good, no firewalls, all ports have been verified open. Reboot 500, vm works for about 10 minutes then ring no answer.

when it is ringing no answer can you still get into mailboxes?

take the voicemail server off the network then ping its address to check for a duplicate.

Do you left the VMPro client open, and logged in a second time thru RDP?

Better use VNC, and close the VMPro Client

there was an RDP, but I closed it through dos. TSCON 0/dest:console is the command I used.

7/1/2009 2:14:37 PM 8 The following system resources are all in use:
Voicemail Channels
7/1/2009 2:14:46 PM 5 Attempt to use a feature for which no license is installed.
License Type: CCR CCC UPG
7/1/2009 2:14:46 PM 5 Attempt to use a feature for which no license is installed.
License Type: CCR SUP

this is out of system status, it climbs as one calls voicemail

Don't worry the CCR error, but how many calls do you get at the same time...and how many vm ports do you have?

Do you have a AA programmed? If you don't use "Queue Position" the you can tick "Synchronize calls" on the huntgroup in the AA tab. All callers in that Queue will hear the same message at the same time so then it will only use 1 vm channel.

Stop/Start the 2 VMPro services check with *17 if it runs again, mostly this problem occurs when you leave the VMPro Client open and give the IPOffice a reboot thru the Manager.

LAN port went bad on back of IP 500. <go figure>

Using the WAN port until we replace the 500. Only 3 weeks old too.

What made this odd is, could ping unit, all adjunct software, pmp, ccc, etc,.. were still working. Only VM would not. Went to the WAN port and all came up with no hiccups. [ponder]

weird you say that.

i swapped a unit out the other day because voicemail was stuttering. Literally swapped everything, all cables, switch ports, rebuilt voicemail server, still same problem.

Asked if they had been having phone manager problems too? "yes, but we forgot to mention it"

moved everything onto the WAN port, instant fix. so i swapped the unit out.

Its always the last place you look eh!

No problem. I have always appreciated the support and knowledge here. I always find something new. It is just odd the port would do that. I did speak with "God" and they said there is a batch of 500's that may have this problem. The only problem is, no one is sending in the SN off the back of the units to figure out the batch run. Keep an eye out.

thanks for all the suggestions
