Ok - now it makes sense....I am referencing the SERVER (as noted in my original question). It is an HP server with Voicemail pro running on it - I'm looking for a recommended schedule to reboot that server.
Is that what he meant, i thought "why rebooting a vm server on a regular basis?" maybe he wants to know what to do in case the server has to be rebooted for maintenance.
Let it run forever and if it do just the vm pro it will run forever but only if you leave ms autoupdate turned off.
demanding, the server you load VM on is up to you, it doesn't come as part of the system, if you want a reboot schedule for a server then the IP Office forum is the wrong place to be asking
I appreciate the comments, but everyone is kind of missing my point. And maybe I'm not making it very well. I want to basically make sure I can set this up on a schedule that will not have ill impact on the Voicemail Pro services...as I know zip about them. If I have the server reboot on a schedule (which we can do w/out issue), then I want to make sure VMPro will not have any issues...ok?
