I am looking for a simple call flow for IP Office VM Pro, so I don't have to create it from scratch.
Is there a good document that shows the
Does anyone have a working VM with AA that they can export and send to me or post? markpay@all3it.com - Thanks,
In Voice Mail Pro go to the lower left pane, right click on modules, choose add, and name it AutoAttend
If you click on the Start Point, "Actions" from the menu at the top will no longer be greyed out. Choose Actions >> Basic Actions >> Menu from the top and then left click in the open space on the right that has the start point in it.
Double Click the Menu action. On the Secend Tab "Entry Prompts" click on the plus sign and type in AutoAttend.wav and click close. On the Third Tab "Touch Tones" check 0 and click the plus sign and choose 2?? then click OK.
Your Menu should now have a 0 and a 2?? under the menu name. From the top menu bar select Actions >> Telephony Actions >> Transfer. Left click to place it in the open space. Double Click the Transfer Action, go to the third tab "specific," click the box at the end of the white text entry field, check system defined variables, use the drop down menu to select "$KEY" Hold the last DTMF digits. Click OK.
Use the "Connection" tool on the top menu (the diagnal line icon) drag the mouse from the start point to the menu action. Repeat this to connect the 2?? from your menu to the transfer action you just made. This will allow you to dial the person's extension (assuming you have 200-299 range extensions.)
You can point the 0 option to either a Leave Mail action to go straight to the general mailbox or a transfer action where you would specify the user or group you wanted to act as receptionsist. In both cases go to the third tab "Specific" of the action to specify which mailbox or extension you want to send the caller to.
Finally you need a way to record the Auto Attendant greeting. In Voice Mail Pro go to the lower left pane again, right click on modules, choose add, and name it Rec.
Go to Actions >> Confriguration Actions >> Edit Play List and place that action in the Rec pane to the right. Connect the start point to the edit play list action with the connection tool. on the specific tab of the edit play list action type in AutoAttend.wav (the same file name from above) and click OK.
Choose save and make live.
In Manager create a short code
Code: #999 (can be anything you want)
Feature: VoiceMailCollect
Telephone Number: "Rec"
Line Group: 0
Whenever you dial that code, it will bring you to the Rec module which gives you the ability to record the automated attendant greeting.
