I have an issue on our IPO. Release is 9.0.829 with VM Pro on a Windows Server, 2008 R2. The issue is VM answer, when someone calls my line, it just rings and rings, usually the caller gives up and hangs up. If I am on the line, (I have 3 CA's, one is reserved) the second CA just rings forever, I have only tested to 75 seconds. I have had to change my CA's to 2 with reserving the last CA in order to have callers go to VM if I am on the line. I also now have to remember to hit DND if I walk away from my desk or no call goes to VM. My no answer time is set to 20 seconds. It is also only my extension that has the issue.

Press *00 from your phone. This will cancel any forwarding that might have accidentally been activated. Then press *18 (turns voicemail on). Then retest.

Then it's locked off in user rights and you need to program it in manager.

We want to see Fraulein Maria.

No user rights are applied. The voicemail does pickup if I have DND on and if I am on a call now that I removed the third CA and the last is reserved or if I hit the to VM softkey on my phone. It is just when I am not at my desk and someone calls in.

I just figured it out by watching a monitor trace on an inbound call. It was Call Coverage. Thanks all for your help.

You are calling into a group not to your user. Check the group voicemail settings.

It was not calling into a group. What was happening is the coverage group was set so it was continuing to ring. I just removed the coverage group and everything started working properly.

Oh yes... From the docs (as far as I remember): The coverage group will ring in situations where voicemail would have answered the call.
