I added a new voicemail account to our Octel 250. The problem is that when you call the new number, it is answered by the main auto attendant instead of the new mailbox, as if there isn’t a mailbox setup for this extension. I can then successfully transfer to the new voicemail box from the auto attendant, so I know it is there.
Is there a setting in the voicemail box that would cause this problem? I know everything in the PBX is programmed correctly.
This is my first time working in the Octel system. I usually work on Intuity/Audix.
