Documentation states "Intercom - Phone-to-multi-phone: Allows voice paging through speakers of multiple system phones for up to 6 phones". We just can't figure out how to do it.

did you find that in the feature discriptions? seem possible to do a group call to a voice icm, or auto answer sets, never gave it a try. post the manual you found that in. i'll read up on it

If you mean dial intercom group - see OVl 10 & 11 - DIG key, and DGRP number in ovl 15, plus pkg 21 required. Hope this helps.

Nortel Networks Meridian 1 Communication Systems with Succession Enterprise Software Release 3.0 (M1R25.doc)

ewaver, the suggestion you have posted will allow phone to phone, but not phone to multi-phone. The first posting was word for word from the document posted above, but it doesn't direct me to how to do it.

Well, I would think that if it was third party, I wouldn't have found it in Nortel Networks Meridian 1 Communication Systems with Succession Enterprise Software Release 3.0 (M1R25.doc).

That info came from Bell. Did you check the URL ?

Oh, I'm sorry. I hadn't checked the URL. I just now did look at it. I wasn't able to find anything to answer my question, however. Also, we were hoping to use the native software, since it is referenced in the Nortel documentation.

Last thoughts on this ... apparently if you're running IP, then 1 solution is the Citrix Application Gateway...looks like Citrix bought Net6 to get into voice office suites...here's some info I found for those who may be interested:

Citrix Application gateway:

Zone Paging: Leveraging IP Telephony for Enhanced Communications
Using Citrix® Zone Paging, an organization can make system-wide announcements or page users without the expense of installing dedicated overhead paging systems. By leveraging the IP telephony network, paging is enabled through existing infrastructure using devices that are already on the desk of most users — the IP phone. Paging is now as easy as using the phone

That's very interesting. We're not running IP on our sites, so it wouldn't apply. But, still interesting. Thanks.
