We are using a product from Intertel (phone system vendor) that will allow the 5 branches in our organization to communicate over the frame relay network we have established. The phone system has an "ip resource card" in each location that plugs into the network. We have applied some class maps and policy maps to the routers (a mixture of 1700, 2600 and 3600) but I was wondering if there are some things to consider on the switches that are involved?
In the main office we have a cat 6509 running IOS and in each branch we have 3548xls.

Thanks

In the layer 2 world QoS is called class of service or CoS and is specified in 802.1p. The degree of capability depends on the specific model switch. 6500's support full QoS in the form of DSCP and/or ToS and/or IP precidence bit. Cisco's website has an enormous amount of reference material on the subject.
