Our pharmacist would like a voice menu service built and I've found the information for that online here. However, they'd like an option directed to dial to an outside pager number. Is that possible? If so, what are the key points in making this happen? We have an Option 81C, with a "9" dial for outside access.

Thanks for calling if you would like to reach our pharmacist please press one for all others please remain on the line to leave a message.

Something like this.

Do in Meridian Mail, or Call Pilot and have 1 dial an ACD or Phantom that is forwarded to the pager (if digital pager, make sure you inform the caller, in the menu announcment to enter their call back number) and have everthing else go to a mailbox.

might be just as easy to keep it in the mail, just use a express mail to a mb with remote notification set up, that will give the calling number and the caller can leave a voice msg at the same time.. you'll just need to set up a remote class of service with permision to call the pager number. .. easy to test, add that class to your mb, then your not having to call the user all day and leave test msg's
