voice mail delay when checking voice mail

It d-pends...
if you are just getting delay then do you have a lot of stored voice mail messages ? IF so, delete some of them.
Delay between voice mail password and the number of messages recording will occur if the total number of saved messages in the mailbox is large, regardless of the number of messages considered "new". The system searches and reports the message count each time you check your messages. The more total messages you have, the longer it takes to search the system and generate a proper count when playing the recording You have 10 New Messages and 99 Saved Messages....
Once again, delete some of the saved messages.
There are NO settings to decrease the delay
