I've been using VNC via internal viewer very successfully for a couple years. Now trying more VNC options:

VNC is installed on a XP Pro computer with a 192.168.0.x network address. Used IE6 & these options...

- this works very well & fast
vs
- this does not work - Why not?

-

Next, how can I access this PC from outside the 192.168.0.x network, ie. from our other DSL connected office?

Thank you. Dave Y

For a web connection, vnc will use two ports. One for downloading the applet and the other for connecting.

Check the DOC on the VNC site.

Also, you might want to use tightvnc, you have more control over the port usage.

Good luck
