I have been looking for the latest supported version of VMware.
last year when we started to migrate to VMware the highest supported version was 5.5
Our server guys are itching to upgrade our Avaya VMware servers so we are running a consistent version.
Any help would be appreciated

It depends on the products you are installing. Typically 6.0 is safe for most products today.

The implementation documentation on the Avaya support site is very specific about what is or is not supported in the way of VMware. You can also check the Compatibility Matrix (at the bottom of the support site) which lists VMware versions. Avaya Aura 7.1 for the most part supports VMware 6.5 however not all Avaya products fall within the scope of the Avaya Aura product line.
