VMware GSX and Multipule processors

Does VMware handle the use of multiprocessors? I have a Dell with a Dual Xeon. Will VMware know to distribute the load between the two procs?

ESX does this best, but GSX and VMware server support SMP also. Workstaion v5.5 has experimental support for SMP.
