VM Pro Version 4.0 message is not created after hang up

I just upgraded a SOE & VM Pro to version 4.0 and now have issues with leaving a voicemail. When a user calls in (currently POTS lines) and they get the users VM greeting and decide to leave a message a problem occurs:

1. If the caller leaves a message and just hangs-up - the message is not saved or created.

2. If the caller leaves a message and presses # at the end of the message for more options and then forces the send of the voicemail the message will successfully get created/saved and all is well.

Has anyone experienced this yet? I am currently testing using internal telephones to see if the issue still occurs

i onyl had this on a 3.2 it was actually a programming problem. there was a space at the end of the user name and that the issue.a quic way to find out is to look or


go to the user account in vmail (c:\program files\avaya\ip vmail\accounts. and make sure all of the usually files are there. if not then the mail box was not created correctly.

All is ok! I rebooted the server and for some reason the issue went away!
