We have an IP Office v2 rls. 8.0 with VM Pro Card Option. The time and date is correct on the PBX but the VM Pro time and date is off. How do I change the date and time on the VM Pro card option.

with the UCM, the IP Office is supposed to be set to pull time via SMTP, and then the UCM is supposed to be set to pull time from the IP Office (rather backward to an offboard server). You should see a 169.xxx.xxx.xxx address in the server settings for a time server.

So if the IP Office LAN 1 is 192.168.x.x the Time Server will be that same address of LAN 1. Is that correct?

no, the UCM module comes up intitalized with a 169.254.0.1 ( I think ) in the Hostname and Time part of the setup, for NTP server. YOu should leave it like that, set the correct timezone, and make sure the IPO is set to pull SNTP time. Then it will work.

At least this stup works for me. In theory I guess you could treat the UCM as though it was an external app server and point it via DNS at a ntp time pool FQDN, but the documentation in the install manual for the UCM shows it the way I suggest.
