VM Pro RPC Error

I am running VM Pro 2.1 on an XP Pc and I keep getting an error when I am trying to record a new message via an internal extension.

The error is "the rpc server is unavailble" - I haven't made any alterations to the PC. This is sorted out with a reboot but will happen again after a day or two.

Oddly, it also makes the "Help/About" screen display garbage (which resembles Russian!!)

Any ideas?

Leaving VMP client open during a switch reboot can cause this. Have you tried simply closing and re-opening the VMP client? The garbage about screen is common and happens to me often on HP/Compaq machines.

Funny, this is on an HP/Compaq computer as well.

Have tried shutting and reopening and doesn't work.

I will try closing it though when rebooting - thanks!
